Jerri Lisk Opening
20 May 2010
“While keeping my eyes wide open to this sometimes over
whelming scenery, I can see the shades of turquoise in the
shadows or sketch a tree in the sometimes unseen composition
of ancient rock walls. This body of work takes me back to the edges
of the Qwyhee canyon walls near home, to the vast depths of the
Grand Canyon, ever etching in my mind, that once life was so simple
in these places. With only the tools of survival in hand, light and
space had become the luxuries of life. ”

Opening Reception: Yes!! Paintings by Patricia Sherwood and Robin Daniels
22 April 2010
“Faced with this picture, she thought only, ‘how beautiful’. And relieved at once, the frustration that had edged her youthful efforts, shadowing the pleasure she took in looking at art. Pictures belong to the world of things. They cannot be contained in language.”
-Robin Daniels
“I love saturated colors, muted grays, texture and generous amounts of paint.
I try to surprise even myself! No two paintings are ever, ever alike.
I hope that the paintings resonate with the viewer
in the way that music can resonate and thrill.”-Patricia Sherwood

“Rouge”
New works by Pascal
“Balance, energy, movement, inquiry, interconnection and nature are recurring themes in my work. You will see these elements and others come jointly to create a unique experience by which a particular message or invitation is expressed for the viewer to engage in an intimate dialogue with my work.”

Opening Reception: February 11th, 2010 7-9pm
13 February 2010
“Entre el Cielo y la Tierra” Between Heaven and Earth: works by Gennaro.
“Painting is addictive and therapeutic. It is the best way to communicate everything- the way I feel, the way I think and what I love. Oils, acrylics, monoprints, hand carved wood, plaster techniques learned in Italy, and a color palette created from childhood in Mexico. These are some of the tools that bring to life a fascination with old world and religious iconic images.” -
Opening Night of Catherine L. Johnson and Jeffrey Jon Gluck
16 January 2010
“For a long time I was signing all my correspondences with “Art and Peace”, until one day, a good friend told me she loved that, and from that moment on it became “Art, Peace and Love… What could be better!” This exhibition is in tribute to Deborah.
- Jeffrey Jon GluckMy art is spiritual. My art pursues the beauty of realization rather than perfect beauty. My work is awake to the invisible, the visceral, and the universal- the very life of life. The actual encounter of my art is the authentic experience for it is a dialogue of revelation between the art and the viewer.
